Donnie decides to donate his favorite video game to the poor for the holidays. But on his way home, he has a change of heart and wants his game back. His mission to get his game back is interrupted when a gang of crooks dressed as Santa Claus rips off the donation center and make away with his game. What’s a pissed-off goth and his somewhat faithful salamander sidekick to do? Get it back of course. But how?
This strip was the first time a Donnie Goth story was so large, it had to be broken into 2 parts. It also features a new character, Kyle. Kyle is a mysterious all-knowing goth mentor-type character who appears just when Donnie needs him. He’s also the second Donnie Goth fan featured in the strip. Kyle’s appearance heralds a new chapter of Donnie’s life, whether it’s for better or worse remains to be seen.
